Colors , a poem

...they blend , they trend , they rise , they end ,
You see 'em , you wear 'em , you love 'em , you abandon 'em ,
They are all around , they are all that you find .

The sun you see , the light you feel ,
The words you speak , the reply you seek ,
The color you choose , the color you keep ,
Are all wonderful , are all eye pleasing .

The beauty is , everybody has it ,
Be she a poor old woman by the lane ,
With the lovely dark wrinkles on her vein ,
Painted with the joy of freedom ,
Belted with the colors of poverty ,
She sits by the lane , in the hope of colors ,
Colors of giveaway , colors of courtesy ,
Colors of that tiny piece of love , colors that are not just colors !

Or be it us

We have it too , we value it less ,
We love it too , we take it for granted more ,
I want red , I wish white along ,
I love purple , I will wear black along ,
I can afford many of 'em for now ,
But , what about the one I have for no cost ?

The colors of nature , the colors of her kids ,
The rising blue , the passionate red ,
The purple wine , the champagne white ,
The lush green valley , the disguise in black ,
The peaceful white , the too bright yellow ,
Above all , this colorful fest , this mix of all .

A Very Happy and Holy Holi :)
